Succulents for your Wedding Decorations?
I recently attended a Wedding Show in San Francisco and I saw the most unique decorations made from succulents. I know, I was surprised at how amazing it looked on wedding decorations. To our surprise, brides are planning weddings to be more environmentally friendly and so they take the ‘green’ route.
They displayed table number cards propping on the succulents, bridal bouquets made out of succulents centered by crystals to give it a more elegant look. They also used succulents for bridesmaid and flower girl hair pieces.
It all looked unique and different until I saw the stage that they had sent up for several wedding planners/coordinators giving a quick presentation on the do’s and don’ts for planning for the big day. They had the entire back wall of the stage covered with succulents in different shades and sizes. It was stunning! They had also added larger pieces of crystals to the center of some of the bigger blooms and let me tell you, the listeners had their eyes focused on only one thing….and it was the back wall.
Yes, it would be a little too much to do that for a wedding back wall but it was just something to see.
