Iconic weddings are characterized by iconic gowns, which take months and months of designing, preparation and getting it to The Alter!

Here are some of the most memorable and iconic wedding gowns from the past:

Kate Middleton – Sarah Burton designed for Alexander McQueen, made from French Chantilly lace, English cluny lace and ivory and white satin gazer.

Grace Kelly – Designed by Helen Rose with its unique high rounded collar and fitted waist.  It took 6 weeks of details with antique lace from Brussels embroided with pearls.

Kristen Stewart as Bella in ‘Twilight: Breaking Dawn’ – It took 4 months to create at a price of $35,000, It was also matched with jewel-encrusted Manolo Blahnik heels.

Carrie Bradshaw in Sex & The City – Champagne colored featured a full skirt and asymmetric hem with sweetheart neckline.  Designed by Vivienne Westwood.  The cocktail version of the gown was sold online immediately after the premier of the movie at $9,875.  However, the original design can still be purchased from designer at $15,700.

Princess Diana – With 80’s pluff sleeves was created with antique lace and a massive 10,000 mother of pearl sequins.  Her gown is currently on tour but replica gown was sold at $130,000.
