Lucky couple will say "I do" at the ACM Awards
The wedding planning is all set for Christina Davidson and Frank Tucci, and the New Jersey couple will have quite the unique wedding venue – the 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, according to The Hollywood Story.
Country singer Martina McBride and Pat Monahan, the lead singer of Train, will be performing “Marry Me,” while Davidson and Tucci exchange their vows. McBride hand-picked Davidson and Tucci as the couple who would be given this honor because of what brought these two together, according to the news source.
The couple met in a support group for widows and widowers after Davidson lost her husband in a drowning accident in 2009. Tucci lost his wife to cancer that same year, and the two formed a bond that later led to love, the media outlet reports.
According to The Associated Press, the ACM Awards will air on April 1, and McBride and Monahan are not the only ones who will be on stage this night, Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert, Lady Antebellum, Keith Urban and The Band Perry will all be performing as well.
